My Bar Mitzvah project is to raise money to restore the Mishkan Israel Temple. All the money will go to restoring the temple to its original beauty. Full renovations will cost 3 to 4 million dollars, but my fundraising goal is 10,000 dollars. Once the temple is fully restored, an option that the remaining members are considering is to operate it as a museum reflecting the legacy of the Jewish influence and heritage in Selma and Dallas County, AL.
